Captain Terry has been involved in/with the great outdoors since the moment he was introduced into this world. At an extremely young age, his father placed a fishing rod into his hands and began passing on the critical skills that would later create a patient, persistent, successful young man. By the age of sixteen, Terry’s waterfowl hunting obsession took hold and drove him to make his first boat faster! As this love for the water grew so did his experience which eventually led to mastering the art of the hunt.

That accomplishment brought forward a desire to share his outdoor adventures with the world and in 2015 he started the brand and his charter business with a primary goal of having fun in the outdoors. Today he happily calls Matagorda Bay home and is blessed to be surrounded by a phenomenal network of men & women that are some Texas’s BEST!

Captain Terry is a very good Boat captain. He kept all of our bait on our hooks. He took care of all of the fish. It was just a great experience. We probably caught 150 fish in six hours and by the end of the tour, I thought my arms were gonna fall off. We will definitely use him again in the future.

We had an absolutely outstanding trip this past Saturday fishing in Matagorda. I took my four sons, and our captain could not have done a better job. From start to finish, he was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure the boys had a great experience.

He knew where to go, worked hard to put us on fish, and made the whole day easy and enjoyable. What stood out most to me was how well he treated my sons. He was patient with them, coached them, encouraged them, and made sure each of them felt included. That means a lot to a dad.

The boat was clean, the gear was ready, and everything was handled with confidence and care. It was clear we were with someone who knows Matagorda waters and takes pride in giving people a great day on the water.

I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you are looking for a great captain, especially for a family trip, this is the guy. We made some great memories, and my boys are still talking about it. We will definitely be back.

Terry was a good captain very nice and polite but we had booked a gigging trip on the site and when terry called to confirmed our trip I told him how excited we were to gig for flounder. But I don’t think it registered with him because he said it’s going to be a great time. If you want to book a fishing trip on rod and reel do it in the morning.
