If you’re looking to experience the thrill of trolling for big Salmon and Trout on the clear, cool waters of Lake Michigan, Captain Michael offers one of the best charter experiences out of Pentwater. Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, this trip is tailored to be hands-on, fun, and focused on helping you land the fish of a lifetime.
You'll be fishing aboard a 31' Tiara Open, powered by twin 454 Crusader engines
and outfitted with top-rated navigation and fishing electronics including GPS, radar, sonar, and autopilot. It’s a wide, fast, and stable ride with a fully enclosed private head, cozy interior cabin, and plenty of deck space for your group to fish comfortably. The vessel is licensed, insured, and exceeds all USCG safety standards.
Pentwater is one of Lake Michigan’s most productive ports, perfectly positioned between Big and Little Sable Points. That means shorter runs to prime fishing grounds and quick access to offshore water when the bite moves deep. Expect a chance at King Salmon, Coho, Lake Trout, and Steelhead, especially during the peak season when 30+ lb Kings are more common than ever.
