Captain RC is a Baldwin county native who grew up fishing the coastal waters his whole life. Ever since Captain RC was a young boy, he's had a passion for fishing and being on the water. In 2015, Captain RC decided to chase that passion and resigned from his job at Austal, and starting his first job as a deckhand on a charter boat. It was clear almost immediately that he was right where he was meant to be. Since 2015, Captain RC has continued to chase his dreams, spending countless hours on the water, and seizing every opportunity he could to learn new techniques from our local legends. By 2021, Capt. RC’s passion for fishing and being on the water had grown into so much more then just the desire to be out there himself. He wanted nothing more then to be able to share these experiences and his knowledge with others, leading him to obtain his his captains license. Since then, Captain RC has devoted himself to making sure you have an offshore experience you won’t forget!

Get out there with Captain RC and spend the day crushing Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Triggerfish, and more off the coast of Orange Beach, AL! In addition to the natural reefs and rock ledges where Snapper like to congregate, the Gulf Coast of Alabama features thousands of artificial reefs, which provide perfect habitat for these prized fish. In fact, despite having only 50-odd miles of coastline, Alabama is one of the best places in the country to catch your limit, and you shouldn't miss this opportunity to take your shot at a huge range of deepwater reef species. To hook up keepers, you'll cruise offshore to the best fishing grounds, then drop baits and/or jig the underwater rocks and structure in order to draw bites. Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack can get big, and they can be challenging to haul over the rail. In particular, Amberjack are known as "reef donkeys" for their stubborn fighting abilities. On this trip, you'll be heading deep offshore, trolling for lightning-fast gamefish such as King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, and Blackfin Tuna. Once you reach the best fishing grounds, you'll drop your lines much deeper to attract Swordfish, which migrate at great depths, hunting for squid, baitfish, and more.
