About Your Trip
Join Captain Jason for an unforgettable day chasing two of Michigan's most popular freshwater game fish—Walleye and Yellow Perch. Half-day (5-hour) and full-day (9-hour) trips are available, giving you the flexibility to spend as much time on the water as you'd like exploring the productive waters around Au Gres.
Spring and early summer are prime time for Walleye, while late summer and early fall bring excellent Yellow Perch fishing. Depending on the season and current
conditions, Captain Jason will use proven trolling, jigging, and spinning techniques to put your group on active fish. Full-day trips offer the added flexibility to cover more water and fish farther from the launch when conditions allow.
You'll fish aboard a fully rigged 22-foot Skeeter powered by twin 350 HP Yamahas and equipped with top-of-the-line electronics, GPS, a Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor, livewell, and everything needed for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, and fish cleaning are all included.
These trips are great for anglers of all experience levels and are especially family-friendly. Kids are welcome aboard, with discounted youth pricing available when accompanied by a paying adult. Just bring your Michigan fishing license (required for anglers 16 and older), sunglasses, sunscreen, drinks, weather-appropriate clothing, and your favorite snacks. Captain Jason will take care of the rest while helping your group make the most of one of Michigan's premier Walleye and Perch fisheries.
