About Your Trip
Join Captain Ryan for an unforgettable day of fishing along Florida's Treasure Coast, where calm inshore waters, productive reefs, and offshore bluewater opportunities combine to create a trip that can be tailored to anglers of every experience level. Whether you're introducing the kids to saltwater fishing for the first time or chasing trophy pelagic species offshore, Captain Ryan has the local knowledge and experience to put together the right day on the water.
Having spent
years honing his craft in the legendary fisheries of North Carolina's Outer Banks before relocating to South Florida, Captain Ryan brings a versatile skill set and a passion for teaching that makes every trip enjoyable. Families especially appreciate his patient approach with younger anglers, while experienced fishermen value his ability to adapt to conditions and target a wide range of species throughout the year.
The 4-hour trip is the perfect introduction to saltwater fishing and one of the most popular options for families. Staying close to shore and often within sight of land, this trip focuses on maximizing fishing time while keeping the day comfortable and relaxed. Depending on current conditions and your group's interests, you may fish nearshore reefs for Spanish Mackerel and Snapper or work productive inshore waters targeting species such as Snook. It's an ideal option for beginners, younger anglers, and anyone looking for a fun half-day adventure.
For anglers wanting additional time and flexibility, the 6-hour trip opens the door to a wider range of opportunities. The extra hours allow Captain Ryan to venture farther from the beach and spend more time locating active fish. This trip frequently targets species such as King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, and Cobia when conditions allow. The added time often makes a significant difference, allowing the captain to adjust locations and patterns throughout the day to stay on the bite.
The 8-hour full-day trip provides the ultimate Treasure Coast fishing experience. Depending on weather, sea conditions, and your fishing goals, the day can be split between productive inshore waters and offshore grounds, or dedicated entirely to offshore fishing. Full-day anglers have the best opportunity to target an impressive variety of species including Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Kingfish, Amberjack, Snapper, Tilefish, Cobia, and more. With a full day at your disposal, you'll have the flexibility to explore multiple fisheries and maximize your chances at both quality and quantity.
Throughout the year, Captain Ryan utilizes a variety of proven techniques including trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, drifting, kite fishing, and both light and heavy tackle applications. This versatility allows him to adapt to seasonal migrations and changing conditions while targeting everything from hard-fighting pelagic species offshore to delicious bottom fish and nearshore favorites.
Your trip includes all rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, and fishing licenses, so all you need to bring are your favorite snacks, drinks, sun protection, and a camera for the day's catches. Depending on the season, anglers may encounter Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Snook, Cobia, Amberjack, Vermilion Snapper, Tilefish, Pompano, False Albacore, and a variety of other local species.
You'll fish aboard a spacious 30-foot sportfishing boat built with both comfort and performance in mind. The vessel accommodates up to six anglers and is equipped with advanced electronics including GPS, fishfinder, and radar systems that help locate productive fishing grounds quickly and efficiently. Outriggers, a live bait well, and ample deck space make it equally suited for trolling offshore or working reefs and wrecks.
Comfort has not been overlooked either. The boat features a private enclosed restroom, plenty of dry storage for personal belongings, and separate ice chests for your catch and your food and drinks. Whether you're heading offshore in search of a trophy fish or introducing the next generation to the sport, Captain Ryan is committed to creating a safe, enjoyable, and memorable day on the water.
