About Your Trip
Get out there and get fishin' with Captain Ryan, an experienced angler, top guide, and expert on the inshore waters of the Outer Banks. Everything is available to you, from sightcasting for Cobia off of his boat's upper station or trolling for Mackerel to bottom fishing for Drum. Captain Ryan is great with anglers of all levels, from kids enjoying their first-ever catch to hardcore fish-fighters looking to hook a new personal best.
Depending on
the season and your preferences, you'll target a range of species, including Cobia, King and Spanish Mackerel, Ribbonfish, Redfish, Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, and others. You'll employ a range of techniques to find these fish, and then practice your strength, stamina, and skill as you fight them onto the deck.
On the day of the trip, you'll head out aboard Captain Ryan's 30' Custom Carolina centerconsole, a fast and versatile boat meant to handle anything from inshore to offshore waters. She can reach up to 40 knots, powered by twin 300hp 4-stroke Yamaha engines.
Captain Ryan will bring everything you need for a perfect day, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle. To maximize your experience on the water, remember a pair of polarized sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, and sunscreen.
