Read More trips are more for groups looking to wet their feet in the deepsea fishing sphere. Full-day trips allow for more fish catching and more fun!

For deepsea live bait trips you will start your day by catching live bait in the morning, catching anywhere from 6 - 30 mackerel. Once we've loaded the baitwell, we head offshore looking for ahi schools and flotsam (floating grass lines) where we will find Mahi Mahi. There's nothing better than finding a school loaded with fish when your baitwell is full.

For trolling adventures, you will motor off a short distance off the dock to the deep water and start trolling lures at 7 to 8 knots, you will get to see most of the action on the ocean’s surface. You can expect pops, slashes, and bubbles through the water that entice predator fish to attack. One of the two basic fishing styles in Kona, trolling handmade lures will surely bring more excitement to your trip

Captain Bobby's 32' Force sportfisher was custom-built for Hawaiian waters, and is roomy, comfortable, and safe. There’s a cabin in the back where you can see all the action while being protected from the sun. You can also climb the flybridge for a spectacular view of our giant Marlin catches. Whether you’re a serious fisherman or a first-time angler, this boat has the latest electronics and superior tackle for catching any size of fish!

We encourage you to apply sunscreen throughout the trip, bring lotion sunscreen, no spray. Additionally, you can bring food and beverages on the boat. We will provide ice and coolers.

**FISH POLICY**
Captain Bobby does his best to get the fish his clients want during the trip and share the catches with them. He usually makes fillets out of mahi-mahi, ono, and small tuna. Please be advised that while you have a share of the catch, the bigger tuna and fish worth more money will stay with our captain, which is part of how we are able to offer such competitive rates.

Things to Keep in Mind

Payment & Tipping: We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
