With 41 years of experience and a deep knowledge of the local waterways, Rick is the perfect guide to help you land the catch of a lifetime. On
your fishing adventure, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Salmon River on a fully rigged driftboat—a perfect way hook the fish of a lifetime!

On this trip, there are a wide range of techniques open to you. All have the potential to bring in a big fish, and with Captain Rick's expertise, you'll be able to fine-tune your skills while you're on the river. Pick between fly-fishing, noodle-rod fishing, plug fishing, or float fishing!

You'll be aboard Rick's 2002 18' Custom Fish-Rite Drift Boat, which is fully equipped with three heaters for those cold days, plus a propane grill for your convenience so you can have a hot shore lunch! This boat is one of only a few on the river today of this size, and she's made for your comfort and with safety in mind!

Channel and the OLN Network. He is also a published outdoor writer with writings in the Catch of the North magazine and the Lake Ontario Outdoors magazine!
Rick has a long-standing love for fishing Lake Ontario and takes his passion for fishing to the next level. This heart-felt passion for fishing the "Big Lake" is what drives him to be so successful at it. Being one of the younger charter aptains working today, he still commands respect from his fellow colleagues as a truly gifted Salmon and Trout fisherman.
He takes pride in the work he does on and off his boat. With adults, and even with the young fishermen of the future by giving back to the community by promoting education about fishing in the form of free seminars and special events that Rick puts on throughout the community. Bring all snacks and beverages in unbreakable containers. Sunglasses, rainwear, hat, and sun tan lotion or sunscreen. Rain gear just in case. Camera. A large cooler to transport your catch. Seasonal clothing (much more than you think). Rods, reels & tackle included.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Rick will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
