About Your Trip

Launch aboard Captain Brad's fully decked out 26' Center Console for a first-class and productive Trolling experience out of historic Charleston SC. With a background in the US Coast Guard and a resulting 10+ years of experience fishing the Atlantic Coast all the way from Maine down to the Florida Keys, Captain Brad will put all of his knowledge toward getting you on the fish safely and in style!

Captain Brad usually likes to launch
from the WO Thomas Jr. Boat Landing by the Westmoreland bridge, but there is no need to waste your time hailing an uber or fretting showing up on time, if transportation is a problem Brad is more than happy to come to pick you up! Just let us know where you'd like to be picked up from.

Either way, after you get settled in, and Captain brad starts up his twin 150 Yamahas, you will motor out a couple of miles offshore to do some Trolling and fish catching. Trolling trips are great because the boat and the knowledge of your captain do the "boring" part for you. You get to sit back, relax, enjoy the sweet sea breeze while you wait for the reel to start screaming!

These trips can be extremely productive as well. If you get into a pod of Wahoo, King Mackerel, or Mahi, Captain Brad will just keep circling back to catch more and more, until you've caught your limit or your arms get too tired. Wahoo, King Mackerel, and Mahi Mahi, are just a couple of the potential species you could catch while you're out there, and there are plenty more species the productive waters of the Atlantic can offer up!

You are welcome to get as involved as you would like with your adventure as well, whether you'd rather lounge and chat with the lovely company you've brought on board, or scan the horizon looking for birds or fish activity to help out your Captain, Captain Brad will make sure you have a fantastic time either way.

Beyond superior service and luxurious amenities, Captain Brad also provides the best rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses you could possibly need for a successful day out on the water. Thus, all you need to bring is your favorite lunch, snack, and drink, your sun protection, maybe a towel, and some good company! Otherwise, Captain Brad will take care of the rest to make the most of your Charleston Trolling adventure!

Captain Brad has been fishing his whole life, and his career choice as a member of our Nation's Coast Guard has put him close to the action for years. While moving up and down the East coast as he was getting stationed in different cities, Captain Brad ran lots of private trips. He got his start fishing the inshore, which he loved, but after getting stationed in Charleston 2 years ago, he decided to start realizing his dream of running a charter business. So he bought a brand new boat, decided to start running offshore charters, and hasn't looked back since. He still works for the Coast Gaurd these days, but is more than excited to work you into his schedule to help you get on your next catch of a lifetime!

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! on 6/29/24 me, & 3 other guys came back with NO FISH! This was the worst 1st time fishing trip ever, this had to be a scam. I was totally disappointed, I paid about $400 for the fishing trip, drove to & from Charleston that’s was 3 1/2 hours from my home, wasting gas & time. Had to pay for parking $7 a hour, the captain was 1 hour late arriving with 3 people with him, a man, young woman, & a child 5 yrs old, the boat captain used up 1 hour of the trip time looking for live bait, that was not found. The young lady on the boat wanted to swim, but decided to flap her feet in water while we were fishing. The fishing hours I paid for was shorten about 4 hours, for hours of a screaming crying whinny 5 year old boy child that was mad throwing a tantrum because he didn’t catch a fish, the trip appeared to end to calm him & I never received the fishing hours I paid for. I WAS UPSET

Worst experience ever. He talked us out of going deep sea fishing because it was too rough. Probably the right decision but then he did not have bait, tackle or a destination for in shore fishing. Never got a single bite. If he is " an experienced fisher of these waters" I'd hate to meet someone who is not. Total waste of our money and time. Never again

Response from Brad:
Hey Calvin sorry you had such a bad time. Maybe next time try listening to the captian on fishing techniques. We hooked up to quite a few fish. You also had the option to cancel, reschedule, or a different time line for that day. But you decided to roll along without hesitation. Maybe fishing just isn’t your hobby. It takes a lot of patience, persistence, common sense, and positive attitudes. We all had a wonderful...

Response from Captain Experiences:
Hey David - thanks for letting us know about your experience. I'm truly sorry it did not meet your expectations. The Captain's main priority it to keep everyone safe out on the water. I'm glad you all stayed safe, but disappointed to hear that the alternate fishing plan didn't work out. We hope that you'll give us another shot. Please reach out so that we can get you set up on another trip!
