About Your Trip

Most of all of our Fishing is done within 3/4 to 3 miles from the shore. In the summer months when the mahi-mahi are around we will go further offshore would you wanna book a 6 to 8 hour trip for this. we will be using techniques as trolling, dropping live bait on shipwrecks, and live baiting using kites or slow trolling them around. Kids of all ages are welcome too. We will target the species of fish that you like to hooked up on.

Mate and a captain will be with you on the boat. A 18-25% tip is customary for your mate and Captain’s hard work. They will explain everything to on the way out. Normally it takes about 15 to 20 minutes before you start putting lines in the water. you can bring whatever you wanna eat or drink. There are coolers with ice on the boat and we also provide bottled water on all of our trips.

4 hour trip gives you enough time to troll and drop on shipwreck. You’ll be targeting kingfish, Bonita, blackfin Tuna, mahi-mahi, sailfish, wahoo, and snappers and groupers on the wrecks from depths from 60 - 400 ft.

5 hour trip just give you a little bit more time to cover a little bit more water and try different techniques of fishing.

6 hour trip is the best for your buck gives you enough time to try multiple techniques and go further up and down the coast to fish, different shipwrecks and different area of water, if the fishing is slow in our area. Even in the summer months, this trip gives you enough time to go offshore to target your mahi-mahi’s.

8 hour trip is for the people that are more experience and they want to put the time into catching the most fish or even spending the whole day offshore targeting your mahi-mahi’s.

Independent Guide
Climb aboard with Captain James for a true offshore adventure fueled by a lifetime of passion and experience. Raised on drift boats and immersed in the world of fishing from the age of 3, Captain James knew early on that the helm was where he belonged. By 12, he was docking 65-foot boats under the guidance of seasoned captains, and by 21, he had earned his own license—making good on a childhood dream to run the show from the bridge.

With over two decades of professional experience and a fishing resume that spans Florida’s East and West coasts—from Port St. Lucie to the Keys, Clearwater, and beyond—Captain James has chased pelagic giants across the Bahamas, St. Thomas, the Dry Tortugas, and Pulley Ridge. Whether it’s battling bluewater bruisers like Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, and Wahoo, or dropping baits for bottom dwellers like Snapper and Grouper, he brings a depth of knowledge and skill that’s hard to match.

Captain James is a firm believer in the power of live bait. Whether he's kite fishing for Sailfish, bump-trolling over a wreck, or dropping baits along the reef line, his style is all about maximizing the thrill—because, as he says, “you just never know what you’re gonna hook up to.”

With Captain James at the helm, you’re not just going on a fishing trip—you’re stepping into a lifetime of stories, skills, and saltwater legacy. From first-timers to seasoned anglers, every guest is treated like part of the crew.
