About Your Trip

I have been fishing the Pamlico Sound and its rivers and estuaries for 25+ years. My dad raised me catching largemouth bass but the saltwater bug bit on our first speckled trout trip. That was a special experience for me and I strive to provide that same experience to all my clients, seasoned vets or first timers. I am very laid back on the boat and allow you to customize your trip. We can target any species you'd like, however, I do specialize in speckled trout. Old drum (40+ inches) are in our area from around August to October and we get a short 2 week flounder season that starts September 1. Most of my fishing is artificial lures but will do live/cut bait if needed. We have a great fishery and should have an action packed day. I provide all fishing tackle, gear, rods and reels. I also have a 65 quart cooler with ice and bottled water. My boat has a blanket for hire license so you don't have to worry about fishing license or insurance, I have that covered. All you'll need to bring would be snacks and drinks if you'd like something other than water. Alcohol is allowed and you get to pick the radio station. I clean and package your fish and provide ice for your travel cooler if needed. Tight lines and I look forward to having you on the water.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
