About Your Trip

Kick off your morning with an unforgettable 4-hour inshore adventure in Fort Pierce, Florida, with Captain Remus at the helm. With a lifetime of fishing passion and deep-rooted local knowledge, Captain Remus knows exactly where to take you for the best shot at trophy fish or steady rod-bending action. Whether you’re a seasoned angler chasing your next big challenge or brand new to saltwater fishing, this trip is tailored to your skill level, pace, and fishing goals.

Your fishing grounds for the day are the world-famous Indian River Lagoon — one of the most biodiverse estuaries in North America. This stretch of water is home to Snook, Redfish, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and even hefty Black Drum. Depending on the season, you might be sight-casting to tailing Redfish on a quiet grass flat, skipping lures under dock pilings for Snook, or dropping baits around bridge supports where predators wait to ambush. When the bite is on, it’s fast-paced, hard-pulling fun.

You’ll be fishing aboard a fully equipped 22’ Blue Wave center console powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine, comfortably cruising at up to 40 mph to get you on the fish quickly. With space for up to 4 guests, it’s the perfect setup for friends, family, or small groups. The boat features advanced electronics for pinpoint navigation and fish finding, plus plenty of open deck space for casting and fighting fish.

Captain Remus mixes up techniques to match the conditions and the bite. Expect to fish light tackle for the thrill of feeling every head shake, or go with medium setups for larger fish. You’ll use a combination of live bait and artificial lures, with plenty of opportunities for sight fishing — casting to fish you can see cruising or feeding in the shallows. Gear, tackle, and bait are all included, so you can focus on fishing while your captain handles the details.

Along the way, you’ll pick up tips on reading water, presenting baits naturally, and handling fish like a pro. And while the fishing is top-notch, the scenery alone makes the trip worthwhile. All you need to bring is sun protection (hat, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen), comfortable clothes, snacks, drinks, and your fishing license. Captain Remus provides the rest.

With its unbeatable mix of local expertise, premium equipment, and the incredible fishery of the Indian River Lagoon, this 4-hour inshore trip is the perfect way to spend a morning in Fort Pierce
