About Your Trip

Join Captain Andy or Captain Shesla for a day of offshore fishing in the waters off Puerto Rico. One of the unique things about fishing here is how quickly you can reach deep water—many of the fishing grounds are just 15 to 20 minutes from the dock, allowing you to get lines in the water shortly after leaving shore.

Depending on the season and what's around, you may target species such as Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna. The crew keeps an eye on current conditions and recent fishing activity to decide where to fish and what approach to use throughout the trip.

You'll be fishing from a 37' Bertram sportfisher, a classic offshore boat that's built for spending long days on the water. The boat features a flybridge, a spacious fishing deck with a fighting chair, comfortable seating, and a marine head for added convenience. It's also equipped with a cooler stocked with ice, a freshwater washdown system, rod holders and outriggers, GPS, fishfinder, sonar, VHF radio, and all required safety equipment, including life jackets, fire extinguishers, and a first aid kit. A Bluetooth sound system is available onboard, so you're welcome to connect your phone and play your own music during the trip. The boat is also equipped with a swim ladder.

Trips are available with 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, and 1:00 PM departure times. The trip is designed for anglers of all experience levels, whether you're new to offshore fishing or have plenty of time on the water already.

All fishing gear is included, along with lunch for the day. If you decide to keep your catch, fish cleaning is included at no additional cost. You're also welcome to bring canned beer onboard.

We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you'd like to have with you during the trip.

If you'd like to spend a day exploring Puerto Rico's offshore waters and targeting some of the area's most popular game fish, Captain Andy and Captain Shesla would be glad to have you aboard.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
