About Your Trip

Jump into the clear, coastal waters of Crystal River for a half-day scalloping adventure that’s equal parts relaxing and rewarding! Perfect for families, friend groups, or anyone looking to mix a little underwater fun with the thrill of the hunt, this trip is all about good vibes, salty air, and tasty rewards.

Scalloping is a bit like snorkeling with a mission – and once you try it, you’ll be hooked. Your guide will cruise you
out to the pristine shallows of the Gulf, where the water ranges from 3 to 8 feet deep. Once anchored, it's time to gear up and dive in! You'll float face-down, scanning the seagrass beds for the telltale glint of blue eyes on the shells below. When you spot one, just take a breath, dive down, and scoop it up. Simple, fun, and incredibly satisfying.

Whether you're a seasoned scalloper or giving it a go for the first time, this trip is easygoing and beginner-friendly. All the gear you’ll need is provided, including snorkels, masks, fins, and mesh bags for your catch – so just bring your swimwear, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure. Kids are more than welcome, making this an ideal outing for the whole family. With room for up to 6 people, there's plenty of space to bring the crew along.

There’s no strict limit on how many scallops you can search for during your trip – you’re free to fill your bag (within legal limits, of course), and if you want your scallops cleaned and ready to cook, your guide offers that service for a small additional fee. Trust us, it’s worth it after a few hours soaking up the Florida sun.

And the best part? You can choose the start time that works best for your schedule. Morning, mid-day, or afternoon – it’s your call. So whether you’re looking to kick off the day with an early dip or end it with a golden-hour snorkel, we’ve got you covered.

Come experience one of Florida’s favorite summertime traditions. Book your Crystal River scalloping trip today and get ready to bring home not just dinner, but a boatload of memories!
