As the sun starts to set and the temperatures drop, the inshore bite fires up — making this a great time to target Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder in the calm, scenic waters around Pensacola.

Whether you're a seasoned angler or bringing the whole family along, this trip offers the ideal mix of relaxation and action. You’ll fish productive grass flats, docks, and oyster bars using live bait for the best chance at hooking into quality fish. If you're comfortable casting lures, Captain Clay also has a selection of artificials to tempt Trout and Redfish cruising the shoreline.

Depending on the conditions, trips may extend just after sunset to fish around dock lights, where big Speckled Trout come out to hunt under the glow — a local favorite for sight-fishing excitement!

You'll be riding in comfort aboard Captain Clay’s 24’ Sea Born bay boat, powered by a smooth 300 HP Yamaha engine and fully rigged with high-quality rods, reels, tackle, and live bait. Fishing licenses are included, so all you need to bring is your favorite snacks, drinks, and a bit of evening breeze energy.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
