About Your Trip

If you’re ready to battle one of the ocean’s apex predators, Captain Ryan’s shark fishing trips out of Murrells Inlet are just the ticket. Whether you’re chasing the thrill of a screaming drag or hoping to check a monster catch off your bucket list, this adrenaline-pumping adventure promises serious action—and some unforgettable stories to tell.

Climb aboard Captain Ryan’s 24’ Sea Hunt center console and set your sights on the jetties and nearshore reefs where
sharks lurk beneath the surface. These waters come alive with toothy predators when the tides and weather line up just right. On a good day, you’ll be hooked up in no time—so come prepared for a fight!

This trip puts you up close with a wide variety of shark species, including Blacktip, Bonnethead, Hammerhead, Thresher, and even the mighty Tiger Shark. Using bottom fishing and light tackle setups, you’ll drop baits around reef edges and rocky structures—right where big sharks like to hunt. It’s all about strength, patience, and a little bit of luck, but with Captain Ryan's expertise, you're in the best possible hands.

Your vessel is fully equipped for the chase with a GPS, Fishfinder, Live Bait Well, and a wireless trolling motor to help you stay on the bite. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included, and Captain Ryan provides bottled water, fishing licenses for all six guests, and fish cleaning services (if you’re keeping legal species).

Just remember: weather plays a key role in shark fishing, especially when heading to nearshore waters, so flexibility is important. Captain Ryan always puts safety first and will make sure conditions are right for a productive and safe outing.

So if you’re looking for big thrills and a shot at tangling with some of the most powerful fish in the sea, join Captain Ryan for a shark fishing trip that’ll get your heart pounding. Just leave the bananas at home—and let the battle begin!
