The waters around Anna Maria Island and Tampa Bay are some of the most scenic on Florida's Gulf Coast, and Scott's four-hour private sandbar and dolphin watching cruise gives you an easy, relaxed way to experience them. This is an outing built entirely around enjoying the water, with no agenda beyond good company, warm Gulf breezes, and whatever the day brings along the way.

Dolphins are a frequent presence in these waters, and cruising through the crystal-clear shallows around Anna Maria Island puts you in some of the best territory on the Gulf Coast for natural wildlife encounters. Seabirds add to the natural backdrop throughout the trip, making this as much a wildlife experience as a day on the water.

After cruising the area, Scott anchors at one of the region's beautiful sandbars, giving your group time to swim, shell, or simply stretch out and soak up the Florida sun. The sandbar stop is the centerpiece of the trip for many guests, a quiet, picturesque spot accessible only by boat where you can settle in at your own pace and enjoy the surroundings without a crowd.

Island tunes and a laid-back atmosphere set the tone from the moment you leave the dock. Bring your favorite drinks, your camera, and whatever you want for the afternoon. Scott handles everything else.

The 2023 22-foot Bulls Bay center console is a modern, comfortable platform for a four-hour Gulf cruise, with GPS and a smooth, reliable 200-horsepower Suzuki to get you where you're going. There is no onboard restroom, so plan accordingly.

Captain Scott is a Coast Guard-licensed captain and a 3rd generation native Floridian. He was handed down the tradition and local knowledge of fishing Florida waters by both his grandfathers and his father. He has been fishing the local waters for the last 35 years. He has a love for the outdoors and knows the local waters like the back of his hand. He is a proven tournament winner – 1st place 2018 Suncoast Tarpon Shootout, 1st place biggest Tarpon 2017 White Buffalo Suncoast Tarpon Shootout, with 3rd place most releases, 2016 Suncoast Tarpon Shoot Out 2nd place overall, 2018 Economy Tackle Bass on Fly tournament 1st place. All kids are welcome on his charters, he loves sharing this great fishery and the outdoors with the next generation. The look on their face when they reel in the big one keeps him going! He prides himself on being patient, helpful, attentive and he will do everything he possibly can to make your experience on the water a great one.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
