From elegant wading birds hunting in the shallows to flocks of seabirds soaring overhead, every corner of this tropical maze is alive with movement and sound.

Join Captain Jamie in Key West for a relaxed and immersive birding experience. You’ll quietly pole through the gin-clear waters, exploring hidden mangrove creeks, secluded flats, and vibrant backcountry lagoons. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to spot graceful herons and egrets, colorful roseate spoonbills, ospreys on the hunt, and perhaps even a bald eagle perched high in the mangroves.

Possible Sightings: Great Blue Heron, Reddish Egret, Roseate Spoonbill, White and Brown Pelicans, Magnificent Frigatebird, Osprey, Bald Eagle, Black Skimmer, American Oystercatcher, Great White Heron (a Keys specialty), shorebirds, terns, and more.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In this 4-hour trip, I got a crash course in fly fishing from one of the best. Jamie’s super laid-back, easy to talk to, and knows the area like the back of his hand. We wrapped up the trip with a gorgeous sunset; it was a 10/10 day all around. Even with the slow bite, it was one of the most scenic, educational, and unforgettable trips I’ve ever been on!
