About the Tour:

You will receive a briefing on the tour and be provided with complementary coffee, fruit juice and sweet rolls. Once everything has been explained and all of your questions have been answered we will board the boat and head out to sea.

It is important to be aware that in order to find and see the whale sharks we go out to open waters and sometimes it is rough. Most of the time the conditions are very good or perfect and everything goes well but as we all know the sea changes every minute and the conditions are sometimes not that good including rough sea and rain.

When it is too rough or dangerous the port is closed by the Port Master and we never go out in this case but sometimes even when it does not look very good if we are allowed to run the tour we do go out as all the other companies do.

You will be back at the marina before 2:00pm if the weather conditions allow us to finish early unless you prefer we drop you off in Isla Mujeres so you can know the place, in this case you will need to take the ferry back to the Cancun side by your own means afterwards.

If you purchase a tour online with us that price is reduced to just $160 if you get by your own means to our marina by 7:15am.

The price includes light breakfast at the marina, the entire tour with the whale sharks and snorkeling at the reef as well as all the snorkeling equipment needed and of course the food and drinks. It does not include towels.

The spaces are limited to 10 people per boat plus guide and captain, we guarantee 100% availability from May 17th to September 17th.

The remaining balance + $10 for the marine park must be paid in cash, unless you agree to pay + 5% they charge at the marina if you pay with a credit card ) on the day of the tour prior to boarding the boat.

Itinerary

Early Morning

7:10 AM: reception at marina / complementary breakfast.

7:40 AM: Set sail into the Caribbean waters.

Whale Shark Experience

8:40 AM: Arrival at the whale shark area.

8:40 - 11:30 AM: Guided whale shark encounter.

11:30 AM: Visit to the pristine North Beach at Isla Mujeres.

Afternoon Activities

12:15 PM: Fresh local ceviche lunch.

12:40 PM: Complimentary reef snorkeling experience.

1:00 PM: Begin return journey to marina.

After all these years we have the best boats available on Isla Mujeres and Holbox island. All of them have 2 engines, an emergency toilet, a ladder to easily go in and out the water and a canopy for sun protection. All our staff are highly specialized and will be by your side from beginning to end of the experience to make sure everything goes perfectly well. Our goal is to make this our snorkeling tour – swimming with the whale sharks the most unforgettable experience you will have in Mexico.

Prices shown on the web site include transportation from the lobby of your hotel, light breakfast getting at the marina, all the equipment for the swimming with whale sharks tour, snorkel gear as well as life jackets, food and beverages onboard. The prices do not include the fee of the whale shark marine park ($5 per person ) and tips. We guarantee there is no extra charge at all apart from that.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Julio will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
