About Your Trip

Join Nick for a guided Texas hog hunting adventure on 105 acres of private land in Damon, Texas, located about 45 minutes south of downtown Houston. With wild hog hunting available year-round, this trip offers the opportunity to pursue one of Texas' most abundant game animals whenever you're ready to hunt.

Depending on your preference, you can spot and stalk hogs across the property or hunt from a blind overlooking a feeder. Both rifles and archery equipment are welcome, allowing you to choose the hunting style that best suits your experience and goals.

This trip is suitable for hunters of all experience levels. Whether you're heading out on your first hunt or have years of experience in the field, Captain Nick will tailor the hunt to your group's skill level and hunting style.

Everything you need for the hunt is included except your firearm and ammunition. We recommend bringing weather-appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and any other personal items you'd like for the hunt.

Late evening start times are available, with departure times varying depending on the hunt and conditions. Game cleaning and lunch or snacks can be arranged for an additional fee. You're also welcome to bring your own food and drinks if you prefer. If you have a well-trained hunting dog, you're welcome to bring it along—just let Nick know in advance.

For hunters looking to extend their stay, a spacious six-bedroom, three-bath lodge is available on the property for an additional cost. A private chef can also be arranged for an additional fee, providing a comfortable way to end the day after your hunt.

Please note that this hunt is priced by the hour, not by the number of animals harvested.

Everything but the gun and ammo included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip. Game cleaning available for $100 per hog. Our 6 bed 3 bath lodge is also available for an additional cost.

You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Nick will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
