About Your Trip

Get your young ones into fishing with this beginner-level trip! The calm waters of Choctawhatchee Bay and exciting nearshore waters off the coast of Destin are perfect spots to learn the basics of fishing.

Captain Jordan will show your kids everything they need to know to get started with that first cast as they target Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and Speckled Trout. Classic light tackle is all that's needed to
target these fish, and Captain Jordan will get them set with the best bait to put one on the line!

This trip takes place aboard a 22' Cape Horn center console that can fit up to 6 people. Powered by a 225 HP Honda engine, this vessel will safely get your little ones to where the fish are biting! On board is a GPS, Fishfinder, a Live Bait Well, a Wireless Trolling Motor, and an Ice Box to store any keepers. Captain Jordan will happily clean any meal-worthy fish free of charge.

Captain Jordan will provide all rods, reels, tackle and live bait. We recommend your kids bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and any food, drinks or motion sickness aid they might need. Book your trip today and show your kids the awesome sport of fishing!
