About Your Trip

Spend the day fishing the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico with Captain Ryan, a lifelong Florida native and professional fisherman with over 35 years of experience running both commercial and charter trips. Based on the west coast of Florida, Captain Ryan specializes in offshore and deep sea fishing, targeting a wide variety of prized species across a range of trip lengths—all designed to give you a memorable, professional, and fully outfitted experience on the water.

Captain Ryan runs trips aboard his custom 32’ Sabalo sportfisher, a USCG-certified offshore machine powered by a 305 HP Cummins Turbo Diesel. It’s fully equipped with top-tier Furuno electronics, twin live bait wells, all required safety equipment, and plenty of seating and shade under a solid fiberglass roof. There’s even a cabin with dry storage and a clean, enclosed head on board. The boat is licensed for up to 6 guests, and Ryan frequently coordinates with other trusted captains to accommodate larger groups on multi-boat outings.

Whether you're looking for a short nearshore run or a full-day offshore adventure, there's a trip that fits:

Half Day (4 Hours): Fish up to 15 miles offshore for species like Grey Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish (in season), and Sharks. A great option for families or first-timers.

3/4 Day (6 Hours): Venture 10–20 miles offshore for Red Grouper, Gag Grouper (in season), Cobia, Sharks, and Snapper species.

Full Day (8 Hours): Head 25–30 miles out to target Mangrove Snapper, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, and more.

Extended Day (9 Hours): These trips go as far as 40 miles offshore to chase Red Snapper (in season), Lane Snapper, Amberjack, Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, and Cobia—ideal for anglers looking to fill the cooler and push further into the Gulf.

Each trip includes rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses, plus ice and coolers. You’re welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer. Fish cleaning and bagging is done dockside after the trip, so you’ll leave with cleaned fillets ready for the grill. A 15–20% gratuity is appreciated for the deckhand, who handles all rigging, bait, catch management, and keeps your day running smoothly.

Kids are always welcome and often get extra attention. Captain Ryan is happy to teach first-timers and walk you through techniques if you’re new to fishing or just want a refresher. Whether it’s helping a child catch their first snapper or guiding seasoned anglers to big offshore targets, the goal is always the same: a safe, comfortable, and rewarding day on the water.

All you need to bring are snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. There’s plenty of shaded space onboard, but you’ll still want to be prepared for sun and changing weather. Motion sickness precautions are recommended for those prone to it, especially on longer trips.

With decades of Gulf experience, top-tier equipment, and a fully outfitted boat, Captain Ryan offers a professional offshore charter that’s built around safety, success, and having a great time on the water. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just looking to try deep sea fishing for the first time, this trip has everything you need for an unforgettable day offshore.
