About Your Trip

Early spring striped bass allows us to adventure close to home targeting large schools and structure likely to hold the bigger fish. Our 5 hour trips begin at 6AM and return at 11 AM. Unlike most charter boats, our vessel is equipped with a Rhodan Trolling motor allowing us to stay on top of the fish in strong currents. You can expect to be casting artificial lures on light tackle until the beginning of May. We will transition over to using live bait if it is consistent in the bay later in the spring into the summer. During May, you may also have the chance to catch fish using top water lures. A first mate will be available for the day of your trip where a 20% tip is customary for his hard work aboard. He will also provide fish cleaning along with tying knots, rebaiting hooks and cleaning the boat. Alcohol is welcomed on the boat, but please try to avoid bringing glass bottles.

Make some memories in Woodbridge Township and lets go fishing!

Local species include Striped Bass, Flounder, Weakfish, Black Seabass, Tautog, and more with any luck. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. No previous experience necessary, we will help you and teach you.

Fish caught during the trip are yours to keep, so long as they meet regulations. Capt. Your mate will even filet your catch for
you at the end of the trip with bags supplied.

You'll be fishing aboard a 27' Grady White center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. If you prefer to bring your own you are welcome to do so, however you must also provide your own tackle.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to keep your rigs looking sharp and make the most of your trip. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% at the end of the day to show your appreciation.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests under the age of thirteen, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly! We will provide a cooler on board to keep food and beverages at the right temperature.

It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is permitted, however try to avoid bringing glass bottles.

The Captain requires white soled shoes so the deck does not get marked up.

Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with us.
