About Your Trip

Head offshore from Destin with Captain Brody and experience the thrill of deep sea fishing along Florida’s Emerald Coast. A Destin native, Brody has been fishing these waters his entire life—from learning the ropes as a kid to running one of the area’s top-rated private sportfishing boats. Now at the helm of his own 36’ Hatteras, he’s ready to put his experience to work for you.

All trips target a wide variety of species depending on the season and conditions. Expect opportunities to reel in Red Snapper, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Vermilion Snapper, Cobia, Grouper, Triggerfish, and more. Techniques include trolling, deep sea, and bottom fishing, with the approach adjusted based on what’s biting.

You’ll be fishing aboard a comfortable and well-equipped 36’ Hatteras Sportfish. It features air conditioning, a fully enclosed bathroom, kitchen, live bait well, outriggers, GPS, radar, and a spacious layout with plenty of room for up to 6 guests.

Trip Options:

4 and 5 Hour Trips: Great for families or beginners, with morning and afternoon departures available. These trips stay closer in but still give you time to hook a good variety of offshore fish, like Vermilion Snapper, Cobia, Kingfish, and more.

6 Hour Trips: Also offered in both the morning and afternoon. Ideal for anglers looking for more time and flexibility to chase down a few more species, including Red Snapper (in season), Triggerfish, or Mahi Mahi.

8 and 10 Hour Trips: Full-day adventures that depart in the morning. These trips are designed for serious fishing—more time means more spots, more variety, and more opportunities to land bigger fish like Amberjack, Mahi, and Grouper.

All gear, tackle, bait, licenses, and catch cleaning are included in the price. A first mate will assist you throughout the trip—customary gratuity is 20%. Just bring your food, drinks, and anything else you want to stay comfortable for a great day on the Gulf. Captain Brody is here to help you make memories, catch fish, and have a great time doing it.

Techniques

Everything Else to Know

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Brody will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
