About Your Trip

We will be mostly targeting different species of catfish using bows and gigs along with gar and carp species, trips are approximately 4 hours and up to 4 people. Boat can be booked up to 6 people, however only 4 may be on the deck at a time. If you would like to fish longer, the trip may be extended for a fee. We will provide water and have room for your personal drinks or snacks as well as extra clothes/jackets. Dry boxes will be provided for any personal things. Closed toe shoes are recommended. Canned beer is allowed however it will not be provided. If you would like to keep any fish, be sure to bring a cooler.

My name is Captain Josh. I grew up fishing in these lakes since I was barely old enough to walk! I’ve spent most of my life fishing or hunting somewhere out here but bow fishing has been an addiction since the first attempt. I say attempt because man I missed a lot starting out! I look forward to teaching as well as learning from all the customers I take. Slinging arrows and cracking jokes.

I started alligator hunting a little later in life and man I was hooked, no pun intended. Being able to fight something older and stronger than myself with nothing but a hand-line was a fight I’ll never forget and one I hope to experience with you.

All equipment is provided. We also provide some drinks and snacks but encourage bringing your favorites. Beer is allowed but will not be provided. Coolers are provided for drinks and snacks but you are welcome to bring your own small cooler or bag. We also recommend bringing weather-appropriate clothing and bug spray. If you have your own equipment feel free to bring it as well. Please bring your own cooler if you would like to keep any fish!

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Great communication after booking and answered all of my questions in the weeks leading up to the trip. Punctual, prepared, and brought the perfect boat for the trip. Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
