About Your Trip

A charter company like none other in the entire Bay Area. We feature 3 Federally Permitted fishing boats all equipped to give you the most memorable day on the water imaginable. Two of our vessels can hold up to 6 passengers and then we have a 50 foot Coast Guard Inspected vessel that can carry up to 35 with 14 fishing at one time. Depending upon the time of year and the duration of the charter you book we can fish right off the beach or run out to 100 miles offshore to accommodate each charters desires.

The Gulf features some of the best fishing you will find anywhere. From non stop family action designed to create memories for all ages to extreme big fish angling we have the boat and crew to get it done. With multiple boats on the water every day we are able to stay on top of the action following the bite. We have 2 other boats that scuba dive that help us to know exactly what is beneath the water line so we never have to guess is fish are below. We are the only company around that can boast this.

The majority of our fishing is done on anchor so that everyone is fishing the entire time. Our captains and crew will bait the hooks and take fish off if you like or stay out of the way for tested angler that enjoys doing things themselves. We will clean your catch after the trip and send you to our local restaurant to cook it for you if you want.

What makes you different from other guides?
I have been doing it above and below the water line forever. Grew up on an island fishing and scuba diving. Teaching people how to both catch and spear fish since I was 10. I am 52 now and I still love it. I am a fully sponsored captain who has been on multiple TV shows and writes for Coastal Angler Magazine every month. On my days off I either go frustrate myself on a golf course or I go fishing and scuba diving on 1 of my boats.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Tj will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
