About Your Trip

If you’re ready to load the cooler and bend some rods, Captain Sam has you covered with action-packed trips designed to put you on quality fish. Offering 4-hour half day trips (morning and afternoon) as well as 6-, 8-, and 10-hour morning departures, Captain Sam brings local knowledge and a dialed-in game plan to every trip.

Fishing nearshore reefs, wrecks, and deeper structure, you’ll target a wide range of hard-fighting and great-eating species. Depending on the season, you could hook into Gag, Red, or Scamp Grouper, Red and Vermilion Snapper, Amberjack, Cobia, Gray Triggerfish, King Mackerel, Flounder, and even Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) or Sailfish when conditions line up. Captain Sam focuses on trolling and bottom fishing with heavy tackle, giving you the power needed to pull strong fish away from structure and handle whatever bites.

You’ll head out aboard a 23’ center console built to fish, with room for up to six passengers. Outfitted with GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, wireless trolling motor with Spot Lock, and a fighting chair with reverse seating and belt for trolling, this boat is equipped for serious action. There’s also a head onboard for convenience, making longer trips more comfortable for everyone.

All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait are included in the price. Your fishing license is covered under the charter permit, so you can simply show up ready to fish. If you’d like to keep your catch, Captain Sam will clean and fillet it for you—just let him know your plans. As always, some species may need to be released depending on regulations and seasonality.

Families are welcome, and kids are encouraged to join the fun. Be sure to check on life vest sizing for younger anglers and bring along snacks to keep everyone energized. Water is provided onboard, and you’re welcome to bring additional drinks (cans or plastic only, please—no glass or hard liquor).

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Sam will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
