We'll run quickly to the site, linger as you say goodbye and then head home slowly. I'll take care of...

About Your Trip

Your opportunity to spread your loved ones ashes in the Atlantic Ocean off of the Delaware Seashore State Park, Bethany, Dewey, or Rehoboth Beaches. The trip is 2 hours, we go 3 miles offshore and provide you an opportunity to have a eulogy, wake, toast, or however you wish to remember a loved ones passing. We'll run quickly to the site, linger as you say goodbye and then head home slowly. I'll take care of the EPA reports of burials and ash scatterings at sea and provide you with the particulars for a remembrance. I can also do burials/ash scattering between Cape May NJ and Assateague Island, MD but we just need to adjust the length of time for the trip

Wes has been operating boats professionally since 1979 when he joined the USCG. Serving as a Heavy Weather Motor Lifeboat coxswain at several lifesaving stations, Executive Officer on two patrol boats, and as Officer in Charge of the Coast Guard Lifeboat stations in Hatteras and Ocracoke NC, he retired in 1999 as a Senior Chief Boatswains mate. Wes obtained his initial Merchant Marine license in 1993 and is qualified to serve as Master (Captain) on passenger vessels up to 200 tons, including sail and tow boats. After retiring from the Coast Guard, Wes earned his Bachelors and MBA degrees in Virginia and started a second career in local government as the town manager in Louisa, Virginia. Upon his 2nd retirement, Wes started operating charter boats on the Chesapeake Bay doing eco-tourism, crabbing, oystering, fishing, and general boat trips. In 2019 Wes moved his boat and business to lower Delaware and continues to operate boats for cruising, sightseeing, fishing, and other fun things in coastal Maryland and Delaware.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
