Target one of the most powerful fish in the Keys on this dedicated Goliath Grouper trip out of Key West. These trips are designed around spending time over productive structure and using chum to bring in large fish and create opportunities at true trophy grouper.

Along with Goliath Grouper, you may also encounter species such as Mangrove Snapper, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Lemon Sharks, and Hammerheads while fishing nearshore structure and wreck areas.

Trips take place aboard a 22’ Pathfinder Tournament Edition equipped with all the essentials needed for productive fishing around the Keys.

Water, ice, chum, rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses are all included with the trip. Light tackle, spinning gear, and occasional fly fishing opportunities may be used depending on the conditions and target species.

If catching a massive grouper in Key West has been on your list, this trip is built specifically for that experience.

Captain Todd has spent years fishing Florida waters from Tampa Bay to the Keys, both inshore and offshore, building a strong background across a wide variety of fisheries and techniques. He originally got started kite fishing in Miami before eventually focusing much of his time on the inshore and nearshore waters around Key West.

Today, he specializes in targeting Sharks and Tarpon, spending his days chasing some of the hardest-fighting fish the Keys have to offer.

Captain Todd still approaches every trip with the same excitement that got him hooked on fishing in the first place and enjoys sharing that experience with anglers of all skill levels. Whether you’re looking for nonstop shark action, a shot at a trophy tarpon, or a laid-back mixed bag trip around Key West, his goal is to create a fun, straightforward, and memorable day on the water.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
