About Your Trip

Experience the incredible variety of fishing opportunities that make the Destin and Fort Walton Beach area famous. Whether you're looking for a half-day adventure or a full day on the water, Captain Ken will tailor the trip around seasonal patterns and the area's hottest bite.

Depending on conditions and your chosen trip length, you may fish Choctawhatchee Bay, nearshore waters, reefs, wrecks, and state waters up to nine miles offshore. These productive waters are home
to an impressive list of species, including Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Tarpon, Bonito, and more.

Captain Ken employs a variety of techniques throughout the day, including bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping, drifting, and light tackle fishing to give you the best opportunity for success. Live bait is often available and may be purchased or caught fresh depending on the day's conditions and target species.

Your trip takes place aboard a 22' Cape Horn center console powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine. The boat is equipped with GPS, fishfinder electronics, a livewell, trolling motor, and plenty of room for up to six anglers.

All tackle, bait, fishing licenses, drinks, snacks, and fish cleaning are included. Whether you're chasing your first Gulf fish or filling the cooler with fresh fillets, this trip offers a great way to experience the Emerald Coast's diverse fishery.

Independent Guide
Captain Ken has spent years fishing the waters around Destin and Fort Walton Beach and still approaches every day on the water with the same excitement that first drew him to the sport. His passion for fishing is matched by his love of teaching, making him a great fit for everyone from first-time anglers to experienced fishermen looking to learn more about the area's fisheries.

As a family-oriented captain, Ken takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere where kids, parents,
grandparents, and seasoned anglers can all enjoy their time on the water. He believes that fishing is about more than catching fish—it's about building memories, learning new skills, and spending quality time outdoors.

With extensive local knowledge of both Choctawhatchee Bay and the Gulf waters surrounding the Emerald Coast, Captain Ken adapts each trip to seasonal conditions and guest goals. Whether you're targeting inshore favorites, exploring nearshore reefs, or venturing offshore in search of bigger gamefish, he'll work hard to put you on fish while making sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

His goal is simple: provide an honest, professional, and memorable day on the water that leaves guests excited to come back and fish again.
