Inlet Fishing & Coastal Cruise Adventure

Experience the thrill of fishing the beautiful Atlantic waters off St. Augustine aboard our 2024 Key West 239 DFS. After a short ride from the inlet, we'll head to productive nearshore reefs, wrecks, ledges, and other local fishing grounds where a variety of species can be found depending on the season and conditions. Whether you're a first-time angler or an experienced fisherman, we'll tailor the trip to your experience level and fishing goals.

Our boat is equipped with a live bait well, GPS chart plotter, fish finder, sonar, VHF radio, comfortable seating, bimini top for shade, freshwater sink, a private restroom and our 2024 Key West 239 DFS features a foam-filled, unsinkable hull design for added confidence on the water. All required safety equipment is onboard, and there is plenty of room for families, friends, and small groups to enjoy a comfortable day on the water.

Depending on the season, we may target species such as Red, Mangrove, Lane Vermillion and Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Cobia, Amberjack, Mahi, Sharks and more. Techniques may include trolling, bottom fishing, live bait fishing, drift fishing, and sight casting. Keep your eyes open during the trip, as dolphin, sea turtle, and other marine wildlife sightings are common in our local waters.

What makes this trip special is the combination of fishing, sightseeing, and family-friendly fun. We are happy to customize your outing based on conditions and your preferences, whether you're looking to fill the cooler, learn new fishing techniques, enjoy time on the water with family, or simply experience the beauty of St. Augustine from the Atlantic Ocean. Every trip is private, ensuring your group receives a personalized experience from start to finish.

To help us maintain quality equipment for every guest, fishing gear is provided, and guests are responsible for the replacement cost of rods, reels, or other equipment lost overboard due to misuse or negligence.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

We had an incredible fishing trip today with Elio! He went above and beyond to make sure my boys had an unforgettable time. From spotting dolphins to catching sharks and landing some absolute monsters, every moment was exciting.

One of the highlights was letting my son throw the cast net. He had so much fun bringing in a ton of bait, and Elio made him feel like part of the crew. It was an experience my boys will be talking about for a long time.

Elio truly knows how to make a fishing trip fun for the whole family. We would absolutely book another trip with him and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing day on the water!

Our group of 4 really enjoyed the trip with captain Elio. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. I fed more fish than I caught and he was always very patient with my hook needing more bait. Two out of the four of us had never been to St Augustine so on the way back he took us by the fort for everyone to get a good view. I thought that was very thoughtful! 10/10

The four of us had an excellent fishing trip with Captain Elio this morning. He was very knowledgeable about the local weather and where the fish were to be found, depending on how far out we cared to go. We decided to stay about 2 1/2 miles just outside St Augustine and he knew a good spot there. We had lots of bites but only reeled in two keepers. Still, he tended our gear nonstop, continually rebaiting our hooks and making some minor changes to our tackle. Returning to the dock, he expertly cleaned our fish for us. We would definitely charter with Captain Elio again.
