Push beyond the backcountry and hit the reefs, wrecks, and productive nearshore waters of Florida's Gulf Coast with Captain Christopher!

These trips can take you as far as 9 miles offshore in search of Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Tripletail, Amberjack, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Hogfish, smaller Sharks, and whatever else is feeding. Depending on the species and conditions, Christopher can mix things up with bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, drifting, and light-tackle fishing.

The 4-hour trip gives you a fast-paced introduction to the nearshore fishery, while the 8-hour option provides considerably more time to cover water, work multiple spots, and capitalize on changing conditions throughout the day. One of the biggest advantages of this trip is its versatility. If the offshore bite isn't cooperating, Christopher can head back toward the bay and shift gears for inshore action.

You'll fish aboard his 26' Contender with room for up to 6 guests. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, licenses, water, light snacks, and fish cleaning are all included, so your group can show up ready to fish.

Whether you're introducing the family to fishing or looking to fill a full day with as much variety as possible, this is a great way to experience both sides of Southwest Florida's fishery.

Captain Christopher grew up with Florida's Gulf Coast as his backyard, and fishing has been part of his life for as long as he can remember. With more than 20 years of local fishing and boating experience, he knows the waters stretching from Tampa Bay south toward Boca Grande and loves sharing everything this part of Florida has to offer.

Fishing is a family tradition for Christopher. His father was an avid shark fisherman who spent years chasing big fish around Venice, and Christopher grew up alongside his father and brothers learning how to fish these waters. Today, he carries that experience forward with trips ranging from laid-back inshore outings to battles with massive sharks and Goliath Grouper.

You'll head out aboard Christopher's 2024 26' Contender bay boat, powered by a 300 HP Yamaha and outfitted with modern electronics, a livewell, trolling motor, plenty of ice, and everything needed for a comfortable day on the Gulf Coast. The boat can accommodate groups of up to 6.

Christopher isn't limited to fishing, either. Families, couples, and groups can join him for private coastal tours and sunset cruises featuring everything from island hopping and sandbars to dolphins, waterfront restaurants, beaches, and some of Southwest Florida's best scenery.

Whether you're chasing your first Snook, looking to bow up on a giant Tarpon, battling a trophy shark, or simply spending an afternoon exploring the coast, Captain Christopher will customize the day around your group and show you why he's spent a lifetime on these waters.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
