Explore the productive inshore waters of Northwest Florida with Captain Matt on a fishing trip built around the season, conditions, and your group!

Fishing Choctawhatchee Bay and surrounding coastal waters, you'll have the opportunity to target species like Redfish, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, and more depending on the time of year.

Captain Matt has spent his entire life fishing the waters of Northwest Florida and knows how to adjust the game plan as conditions change. Whether you're an experienced angler or bringing the family out for a relaxed day on the water, he'll tailor the trip to your experience level and what the fish are doing.

Choose from 4, 5, or 6 hours on the water, giving you the flexibility to fit some fishing into your vacation or spend more time exploring the bay and nearby coastal waters.

You'll fish aboard a 23' Sportsman center console powered by a 200HP Yamaha. The boat features Garmin GPS and fishfinder, a Minn Kota Spot-Lock trolling motor, shade from the T-top, dual live wells, a large fish box, and a portable toilet available upon request.

Rods, reels, tackle, bait, fishing licenses, and fish cleaning are provided. Bring your favorite food and drinks, settle in, and let Captain Matt show you what the inshore fishery of the Emerald Coast has to offer!

Captain Matt is a Northwest Florida native who has spent his entire life fishing and exploring the waters of the Emerald Coast.

Growing up in Okaloosa County gave Captain Matt the opportunity to develop a deep familiarity with the area's bays, coastal waters, and Gulf fisheries. Today, he enjoys sharing that local knowledge with anglers while helping families and visitors experience the same waters he's loved for years.

Captain Matt puts a strong emphasis on creating a safe, comfortable, and family-friendly environment aboard the boat. Whether he's introducing a child to saltwater fishing, helping a first-time angler land a Redfish, or heading into the Gulf with an experienced group in search of Snapper and Grouper, he wants every guest to feel welcome and involved.

His trips range from relaxed inshore adventures around Choctawhatchee Bay to nearshore and Gulf fishing for a wide variety of seasonal species. He also offers other ways to enjoy the water, including dolphin watching, sunset outings, and trips around the local area.

For Captain Matt, the goal is simple: share his lifelong passion for Northwest Florida's waters, grow the sport of fishing, and help every group leave with some great memories from their time on the Emerald Coast.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
