About Your Trip

Head out on the water with Captain Larry for an outstanding day whacking the fish around Pensacola. For these nearshore trips, Captain Larry likes to target a variety of wrecks by bottom fishing with drop shots or jigs. He'll use cut bait, live bait, and shrimp to entice the waters below.

When the bite is slow he likes to mosey on out to the deep water for some trolling. After he's rigged up his trolling gear he'll set the throttle to cruise at about 7 knots waiting to hear the reels twisting. He loves that sound so much, he named his boat Twist'n'Reels.

Twist'n'Reels comes loaded with all the rods, reels, tackle, and bait you could possibly need for a successful day out on the water. Along with a captain that just loves to be on the water helping others to catch their fish of a lifetime.

Great Charter with Captain Larry! It was a slower time of year with a few species in season but he got us on some fish! We had a great time. Looking forward to booking again this summer!

Captain Larry and his first mate Blaine were absolutely AMAZING!!!! They took the time to get to know us and asked what we expected out of the trip. After learning our nine year old was a dolphin lover they made sure to take us to a few different spots so we could watch them play.

The fishing was great as well, even though we didn't catch that much, we never had to bait our own line or worry about locating where the fish were. It's called fishing for a reason and we were happy with the ones we got to reel in and fight with during our three hour excursion.

The added bonus of a BLUE ANGELS air show practice made the experience all the much better!

Would definitely recommend for anyone, families especially, to use this service and this captain!
