About Your Trip

Climb aboard with Captain Jim and enjoy a memorable day of fishing out of Clearwater, Florida!

On these trips, you’ll head out up to 9 nautical miles from the shore to bottom fish for various Grouper and Snapper species. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to battle coastal predators, such as Bull Shark. These creatures have some of the most intense bite force out of any species so get ready to give your arms a workout!

You’ll head out on a 27’ Pro Cat Catamaran, built for cutting through the surf to make offshore voyages a breeze! She comes with top-notch navigational instruments, a live bait tank, ample seating, and all the fishing equipment you could possibly need. There’s also plenty of walk-around room so you can follow your prey around the boat as you fish. She can carry up to 6 anglers.

Don’t forget to bring a cooler with ice to take home your day’s catch, sunscreen, and a hat. Captain Jim will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and drinks (bottled water & Gatorade). You can also choose to purchase live bait or catch it along the way.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
