About Your Trip

Hop on board with Captain Andrew for an exciting day of chasing "Silver Kings"! Key Largo is a fantastic spot to catch these beautiful and hard-fighting fish, and although there are plenty of species on these saltwater flats, many would argue that Tarpon are the biggest prize. These fish are huge and put up a big fight, so be ready to do some serious reeling!

On this trip, Captain Andrew will take you around Key Largo's inshore to target some picture-worthy Tarpon. You'll be drift fishing with light or heavy tackle and choosing from a selection of live bait or artificial lures. Captain Andrew will get your rod set up with whatever the Tarpon are biting, put you in some prime spots, and give you some of his certified "Damn Good" tips!

You’ll be fishing aboard Captain Andrew’s 24’ Pathfinder bay boat with a capacity for 6 people. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, she'll get you to where the fish are biting, even in hard-to-reach waters. This vessel comes equipped with GPS, a Flybridge, Snorkeling Equipment, a Live Bait Well, a Wireless Trolling Motor, and Spearfishing Equipment.

Captain Andrew will provide all rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, water, and fishing licenses. All you need to bring is any snacks or drinks you might need, weather-appropriate gear, sun protection (no spray sunscreen please!), a camera, and a cooler to take home your catches. Come aboard with Captain Andrew and catch some fish!

He was so patient when we got tangled or lost our bait and was just in general super friendly and helpful. You can tell he spends his days on the water because there’s no place he’d rather be. And he also cleaned our fish with an amazing alacrity and gave us excellent recommendations on where we could have it cooked for us by highly acclaimed local chefs.
