Captain G will be your guide on this fishing trip, and he has years of experience fishing in these waters. He operates a 25’ DeepVee center console, which is specifically designed for inshore, nearshore, and out to the gulf stream fishing. The boat is equipped with all the necessary fishing gear and equipment, including fishing rods, bait, and tackle, to ensure that you have a successful trip.

Your vessel for the day will be Captain G's 24 foot deepvee Custom Pair Marine center console. It is one of the newest vessels in the area and is loaded with all the bells and whistles. Multiple live bait wells and fish tanks, along with comfortable seating, hidden rod storage, Bluetooth radio, deck lighting and much more mean that you'll be fishing comfortably all day!

During your inshore or offshore charter with Captain G, you'll explore the best fishing spots in Wrightsville Beach, including the nearby inlets, rivers, and coastal waters, reefs, wrecks and ledges. You'll have the opportunity to catch a wide variety of popular gamefish species, including Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, Cobia, snapper, grouper, mahi, wahoo and more. The techniques are up to you! Choose from sight fishing and casting artificial lures, to fishing live and cut bait, bottom fishing jetties and docks, or trolling the Bluewater and bottom fishing.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

Our trip almost didn’t happen due to a booking error by the captain, but once we rescheduled for later the same day everything went smoothly. Captain G was great with the kids (ages 7 and 9) and knew right where to go to ensure the boys caught lots of different fish. I would definitely recommend his charter service to other families, just make sure you connect with him directly the day before.

This trip was a wild nonstop adventure and I came away amazed at the variety of fishing opportunities Captain G can line up at the drop of a hat. There was never a dull moment and G's setup is perfect for skinny water, zipping down the coast, and fishing open water offshore.
