About Your Trip

Take in the beauty of Port Orange and catch dinner at the same time with Captain Kevin! With plenty of fish inshore and nearshore, as well as in the Halifax River, you’re in for a productive day.

Come join Captain Kevin aboard his 25 ft Custom Tidewater. Captain Kevin is on the water over 150 days a year and will do his best to make your day fishing a memorable one. The thing he enjoys
most is guiding his clients, friends and family on the water looking for their personal best fish, lots of fish, or even a dolphin/scenic cruise.

His 25’ custom Tidewater Carolina bay boat is the perfect fit for up to 6 anglers, 4 of whom can fish at the same time. She’s got a big platform for you to cast from, completely updated electronics, and certified safety equipment. The wireless trolling motor keeps you stealthy and the live well keeps the bait enticingly fresh.

Florida’s inshore and nearshore fishing is well respected for good reason. A healthy supply of a variety of fish keeps things exciting on every trip! You’ll easily hook Black Drum, Redfish, Flounder, and Tripletail on half day trips. Opt to stay out a little longer and you can add Snapper, Cobia, and Barracuda to that list too.

Any catch you choose to keep, Captain Kevin is happy to clean and fillet for you to take home. He’ll also provide all the gear 4 anglers need to bottom fish and spin effectively.

There’s bottled water and ice on board but you’re free to bring any other drinks and snacks you’d like to enjoy. Get ready for some of the best inshore Florida fishing around with Captain Kevin!

Independent Guide
Captain Kevin grew up fishing with his dad in Australia, spending any chance he got on the water. His grandfather gave him his first boat when he was 12, a 12-footer with 4 HP outboard.

He spent all of his youth out on the water, in the water, or near the water. In his early 20s, he worked as a scuba and freediving instructor in Sydney, Australia, spending 6 days a week in and under the water. Fast forward 15
years and he is a proud dad, husband, and US citizen who spends every chance he can get guiding clients, family, and friends on awesome fishing adventures.

He feels blessed to live and fish in an area that is beautiful, has a good fish population, and a great local community. He annually spends over 100 days on the water and on his days off from chartering he enjoys building custom rods, fishing his sons, and coaching his son's baseball team. "I invite you to come out, enjoy our beautiful area, and let me take care of you!!" - Captain Kevin

Capt Kevin did a great job. Put us on a good spot for flounder. Water Temp had changed drastically and he still got us on the fish. Would definitely choose him again. Fun guy on the boat.
