About Your Trip

Hop on board this inshore trip with Captain Vince and drift down the majestic Crystal River on Florida’s Gulf coast. As the name implies, the Crystal River boasts clear waters and beautiful views, as well as an assortment of fish for every season.

In the early winter, Captain Vince searches for the stragglers on Grouper season as well as Redfish, Trout, and many other species looking for an easy meal in the calm waters. As
spring begins, you can find Redfish, Trout, and Mangrove Snapper emerging from their winter shelter. Finally during the dog days of summer, Captain Vince targets the Snook and Redfish schooling up on the mangrove banks. Summer is also a very exciting time: the beginning of Grouper season!

Captain Vince provides a fishing license, rods, tackle, bait, ice, water, and fish cleaning services, so all you need to bring is sun protection and a positive attitude. The charter runs both a 5 hour and an 8 hour trip, which each take up to four guests.

As Captain Vince says “fishing is the best way to build old friends and new friends alike,” so take this chance to get out to the Nature Coast where life slows down.
