About Your Trip

The sunny waters off of Holmes Beach, FL are home to some of the best nearshore gamesfish species, and you'll be able to take a shot at all of them on this trip with Captain Taylor! Drop your lines down towards underwater structure and reefs for Black and Gag Grouper, Mutton Snapper, and Hogfish, then get ready to battle these tough fish to the surface. Not only do these fish make great trophies, but they're also excellent table fare!

To get at these bottom-dwelling species, you'll be dropping your bait and lures deep and jigging to get their attention. Captain Taylor knows how to put you on the fish, but once you're hooked up, it's your strength, stamina, and skill versus some of the brawniest fish that the Gulf has to offer. You'll also have chances to troll for Kingfish and cast out for Cobia, depending on the season and conditions. You'll be fishing from the deck of Taylor's 24' Century center console—an ideal vessel for these waters.

Captain Taylor will come prepared with everything you need for a successful and comfortable charter. He'll supply the rods, reels, bait, tackle—and most importantly, his expertise! To maximize your experience, bring proper clothing, a hat, polarized sunglasses, a camera and sunscreen.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
