About Your Trip

Go aboard with Captain Craig for a nearshore slam! On this trip you can spend anywhere from a half to a full day on the offshore waters of the Gulf targeting incredible species. You and up to 6 of your family and friends will be setting out from Pensacola, FL, in search of Amberjack, Cobia, Kingfish, Red Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, and more. Who knows what you might hook in the wild nearshore waters?

Captain Craig's 25’ Contender center console is equipped with all the amenities for an amazing fishing experience. The 300-HP Suzuki engine with power you smoothly out to the deeper waters, where you can drop lines and begin trolling the bottom. The boat comes with a wireless trolling motor and a live bait well, which makes trolling super easy and fun. Just sit back, relax, and wait for the scream of the reel! Besides trolling you will be practicing your drift fishing and jigging, using both light and heavy tackle. Just tell Captain Craig what you want to catch and he’ll do his best to put you on it!

Captain Craig will provide all the equipment you need for a successful day on the water. All rods, reels, bait, and tackle are included in the trip. He even provides fishing licenses for everyone on board, so you don’t have to worry about that hassle! You should bring a cooler to store your catch, which Captain Craig will clean and fillet at the end of the journey. You should also wear appropriate clothing and bring plenty of drinks and snacks. It can be a long day out there—you can’t be too prepared!

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Craig and Spencer were great. Both were very personable and knowledgeable, not just about the ocean and fishing but the surrounding area. As we were heading out, Spencer told us about the history of area/fort and even gave us suggestions for things to do in the area. Craig knew exactly where to go to hit the hot spots for fishing. They made the trip so much fun (even when I was feeling puny). We caught tons of fish. If you’re looking for a good time with great people who know a ton, these are the guys to book with.

I just can’t say enough good things about these two. Definitely 5 stars!
