About Your Trip

Whether you're an experienced duck hunter or just getting into the sport, this South Texas duck hunt will be a real blast for anyone. Your guide and outfitter, Scott, has years of experience hunting the South Texas coast, and will put you right on the birds. In addition, he has a badass track record as an offshore billfish specialist and as a former professional bull rider!

South Texas is smack in the center of the Central Flyway, and is a stopover for dozens of migratory waterfowl specied. The sheltered bays here draw hundreds of thousands of ducks annually, including Green-Winged and Blue-Winged Teals, Cinnamon Teals, Wigeons, Redheads, Pintails, Gadwalls, and Mottled Ducks. You can target all of these species, which are exciting quarries and great eating.

Scott provides the boat, blinds, and dogs, so all you need to bring is your camoflauge, your guns, and your shells. You'll get out there before dawn, and hunt until 11 o'clock, so you can even be home for lunch! This trip can accommodate large groups, so invite your buddies!

Waders, shotguns, ammunition, camoflauge.

You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
