If you're on the hunt for top-notch Shark fishing on Florida's Gulf Coast, look no further! On this charter fishing trip, Captain Christopher will take you on the water of Tampa Bay to catch a variety of Shark species, including Bonnethead, Blacktip, Nurse, Atlantic Sharpnose, Bull, Hammerhead, and more!

Tampa Bay is a massive ecosystem that consists of multiple brackish water waterways connecting the freshwater rivers with the saltwater Gulf of Mexico. Many sharks depend on these mild brackish water conditions to breed juvenile sharks, and the Tampa, Ruskin, and Apollo Beach estuaries are perfect environments for this.

Captain Christopher practices the use of both live and dead natural baits in conjunction with his “Secret Chum Formula” on most Shark trips. This combination is fine-tuned to catch Sharks, which detect the chum from far away, and then go crazy for the baits!

Once on of these powerful fish grabs your hook, it's game on! Sharks are famous for their stamina and toughness, and it can take twenty minutes or more to haul in a big one. Captain Christopher will be by your side, offering helpful advice and tips for fighting one of these toothy fish onto the boat.

Captain Christopher operates a custom-built 21’ Clearwater 2000CC bay boat. This sleek vessel allows for a comfortable drift through the Tampa Bay flats. There’s also a lot of fishing space and a shaded T-top for hot summer days, plus a Bluetooth stereo, so feel free to bring your favorite playlist!

We had a great time. Chris was a great captain/fishing guide. We had a hookup on the first cast fishing near the mangrove trees. Took home two good sized red fish, a snapper and a spotted trout. Had a few got aways and a couple throw backs (under sized). It was a fun half day. Thanks Captain Chris!

Although the captain did a decent job trolling over hundreds of tarpon, we failed to hook up one tarpon. Not sure if it was the bait, surf or what?? The captain didn’t have an explanation either.
