About Your Trip

A shark-fishing charter on St. Andrew's Bay, FL is a thrilling adventure for anglers of all levels! On this trip, you'll be chasing a variety of shark species, including Blacktips, Bull Sharks, and more. Captain Alan's 24' Blazer Bay center console is ideal for shark fishing, with a wide deck and plenty of room to bring sharks on board.

Once you're out on the water, Alan will take you to hit the best fishing spots
for your target species. He knows some real "honey holes" where you'll have a great shot at the sharks! These fish are aggressive and will absolutely hammer baits near the bottom. Plus, sharks are known for having crazy stamina, and a big one can wear out multiple anglers before it gives up.

Overall, a shark charter on St. Andrew's Bay, FL is a fun and exhilarating experience that you'll never forget. So, grab your friends and family, and get ready for a day filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of fish tales to tell!

Captain Allen is a common sense good guy. He will give you the experience you seek. My son and I had a blast and we're comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend him if you want a laid back but still adventurous time. 5 stars

Caught an 8 foot Bull Shark then released. Our choice. Captain Allen is top notch and knows HIS business. Learned it from his dad.

The ad listed multiple types of sharks that we would go after and that it was a “keep what you catch” and offered “fish cleaning on site”. 3 hours into the 4 hour trip we were informed that we could not keep any of our catch and that he would “not be bringing any sharks into his boat”. (Even though in the ad the show pictures of sharks on the boat). This should have been advertised as well as be brought up before the charter began. And then came up with multiple excuses for why we couldn’t including “I can’t clean a shark”, “the ice house that cleans fish is closed for the season and or closed for the night”, “we can’t even fit anything but small fish on the boat”, and then told us that the only sharks legal to take for the area are black tip sharks even though they advertise they go for multiple types. The captain was personable and helpful, and made sure our lines were baited and in the water, as well as help pull in the sharks that we did catch. Also was advertised as a charter with captain Alan, but this is not who captained our charter. We did catch 2 sharks and they were fun to reel in. But it was extremely disappointing to reel one in close to the boat and be told to take a picture and then see him cut the line and let it go. If the intention is just to take a picture and let it go then this should be advertised for this charter. Also boat did not come equipped with a fighting belt to assist with pulling in large fish, or any hooks or equipment to pull a shark into the boat, was clear they had no intention of keeping these sharks.

Hi Joshua, thanks for this feedback and I'm sorry the trip wasn't what you expect. We never want anyone to feel misled and are working diligently to ensure all of our trip listings adequately reflect the trips we offer. Although we do mention that fish cleaning is available for an additional fee, we were not aware that this is subject to the nearby ice house being open. I'm glad you were at least able to...

Although we do mention that fish cleaning is available for an additional fee, we were not aware that this is subject to the nearby ice house being open. I'm glad you were at least able to land a few sharks, and we will also work with the Captain to set expectations up front. Please call us, as we would love to make this right by offering a discount to get you on the shark trip of your dreams!

Alan was the best fishing guide that I have experienced. We caught our limit of red snapper in 30 minutes. We also caught our limit of another type of snapper in less than an hour. He knew exactly where to stop. Fish were biting as fast as you threw out your line. Greatest experience I have had fishing with a guide. Will be booking with him again in the fall.
