On this epic sportfishing trip, Captain Jason will show you and your angling buddies an unforgettable day of fishing off the coast of Shalimar, FL. This area is a top-notch destination for nearshore and offshore fishing, where you can target Vermillion Snapper—locally known as Mingos—plus "chicken dolphin" Mahi Mahi, Redfish, Red Snapper, Amberjack, Kingfish, and a plethora of other species! This trip combines trolling and bottomfishing techniques, so you'll be able to mix it up and chase down all kinds of fish.

On this adventure, you’ll be fishing aboard Captain Jason's 26' Scout center console. This vessel is a beauty, and is equipped with all the gear and equipment you'll need for a successful day on the water. Captain Jason will provide rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and fishing licenses. Don’t forget to bring food and drinks for the day, a cooler to take home your day’s catch, sunscreen, and a hat.

How did you get started guiding?

My grandpa introduced me to fresh water fishing when I was about 7 years old and loved fishing ever since. As I got older I started taking a lot of family and friends on fishing trips and loved what I did so I decided to make a profession out of it.

What makes you different from other guides?

I’m a very outgoing personable person. I can relate to a lot of people whether it be Veterans, Families (I have 5 children), and even the younger generation. I have a passion for fishing and absolutely enjoy creating excitement and smiles while out there fishing.

Awesome trip. My son and I took this trip to get on snapper and we did. Then we ended up hooked on a bull shark and the captain did everything in his power to get the shark to the surface. It was definitely a life time experience that we will never forget. Thank you for the amazing memories I made with my son. Worth every penny.

Captain Jason is very knowledgeable and worked hard to assure we had a safe and enjoyable trip. The two youngsters on board, ages 11 and 12, had a blast catching snappers and a variety of other species while bottom fishing. Later switched to trolling for mahi and kings but those species didn't want to cooperate that day. His 26ft boat offered a stable and dry ride for our 5 person charter even in a light...

We had a great time. Captain Jay was extremely knowledgeable and found us the perfect spots. We had our limit early on large red snappers and trolled for mahimahi. The boat was clean and handled a moderately rough water very well. We highly recommend and will be back!
