If you’re ready to get hooked on fishing in Destin, book a trip with Destin’s Premier Fishing Experience on the newest and nicest boat in the fleet. Our NEW guide for this year is Captain Blake, which means you’ll tap into 20 years of angling experience on the Emerald Coast and is highly respected in the local fishing community!!

These waters are home to Sharks, Mingos, Amberjack, Bluefish, Black Drum, Black Grouper, Red Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Pompano, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and more, depending on the season. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Trips with Destin’s Premier Fishing Experience are fun for all ages, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Capt. Blake will bring you aboard a 2023 31’ Sportsman center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don’t forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The guide blake was great. We had a 5 hour tour planned and a little rain delayed our start time 30 minutes. We arrived to the harbor at 7:30 like Blake instructed, loaded up and then had to fill the boat with fuel. By the time we got on the open water it was past 8:00 am and we fished no more than an hour. Trip was with Blake, who couldn't have been a better captain or person...put us on some fish. However, a few things I feel I should point out to make a better experience. The boat was not fully prepared for our trip, eating into time.
Just before arriving at marina, Captain Blake told us he was running a little late as discovered boat needed to be fueled up. Needed to stop again on way out to pick up some frozen bait as hadn't done before we arrived. Spent a considerable amount of timeD on way out catching live bait. These were all not particularly problematic, but discovering that we only had 2 waters, a coke, and a beer for 5 people was real issue on a hot day. Seemed these were leftover from a prior trip. None of rods were rigged before we left, so had to be rigged on the water. Again, Blake was great, and we would definitely fish with him again, but more needs to be done to prep for future trips in my opinion.

We fished with Capt'n Blake on the 32 Sportsman. Blake was friendly, energetic and most of all, he was determined to put us on the fish. My 13 year old son and his friend were with us, and Blake was extremely attentive and helpful with the youth anglers. I would highly recommend Capt'n Blake, and Captain Experiences, and I would book this same exact trip again if given the opportunity. Tight
