Discover some of the very best dove hunting in all of Texas. Our expansive fields of sunflowers and dove weed create the perfect haven for local birds, attracting them during the early part of the season. As the season progresses, we are in the flyway of mature doves migrating from Kansas and Oklahoma, offering a true test of a hunter's skills and a delight for those who relish pursuing birds in their natural habitat.

Weekend dove hunts await you. Weekend hunts kick off around 11-11:30 on Fridays when clients show up! Shortly after you will have a hearty Friday lunch and there will be time to find your lodgings and settle down before heading out to the field for the afternoon. Mid-week hunts mirror this schedule, spanning a thrilling two-and-a-half day experience. You'll enjoy two afternoon field hunts at different locations, with access to our hunting leases spanning three counties and approximately 40 to 50 different fields.

But the fun doesn't end in the fields. We provide sporting clays and other shooting facilities, supervised for your pleasure. Prizes await the sharpshooters who excel in various categories.

Here are the details of your Dove Hunt:

Two exhilarating afternoon hunts

Two nights of comfortable lodging

Six home cooked meals

Privilege to bag dove, shoot sporting clays, or simply unwind

Both field hunts take place in the afternoon, from 3:30 p.m. until sundown, in different fields each day

We provide camp stools with insulated compartments for cold drinks and ammunition boxes holding three to four boxes of shells

All harvested birds will be cleaned, packaged, and iced for your journey home

As for lodging, you'll reside at the Lake Brownwood Christian Retreat in Lake Brownwood, Texas. Our "dorm" facilities are equipped with air conditioning and heating, along with spacious bathroom areas. Each "dorm" comfortably accommodates up to eight guests and includes an adjoining sitting room for relaxation or card games. Linens, towels, and more are all provided for your convenience.

Getting here is a breeze, with the Brownwood, Texas Airport just 15 miles away, offering suitable facilities for private or corporate aircraft, day or night.

Everything Else to Know

Bring your own shotgun and licenses! 4 boxes of 12 or 20 guage Ammo provided per hunt.
You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Ben will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
