Get ready for an action-packed day on the water with Captain Alex aboard his 27’ World Cat center console! This full-day adventure out of Destin is built for anglers who want to go all-in chasing hard-pulling pelagics and bottom-dwelling brutes. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just getting your sea legs, this trip is designed to get the drag screaming and the rods bent all day long.

You'll kick things off early at 6:00 AM, heading out to explore both nearshore and deep sea waters. Captain Alex knows how to dial in seasonal hot spots, and with 8 full hours at your disposal, you'll have time to do it all—from high-speed trolling for pelagics to locking horns with reef monsters below.

While trolling, you'll be targeting speedsters like Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, and Bonito. When the bite’s hot, expect explosive hits and fast runs that’ll leave your heart pounding. Once you’ve had your fill of the surface action, it’s time to drop down and work the reefs and ledges for big bottom bites. Red Snapper (when in season), Gag and Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Triggerfish, and Vermillion Snapper are all on the menu—and Captain Alex knows exactly where to find them.

You’ll fish using a mix of live bait, cut bait, and artificial lures, depending on the target species and the conditions. Whether you’re bottom fishing, trolling, or doing a little bit of both, this trip is all about keeping the lines tight.

The boat is equipped with GPS, sonar, a livewell to keep bait fresh, and a customer-use cooler—so feel free to pack your favorite drinks and snacks (just no glass, please).

Powered by twin 150 HP Honda outboards, the 27’ World Cat delivers a stable and comfortable ride, making it easy to cover ground and get to the fish fast. This trip is kid-friendly, disability accessible, and perfect for all skill levels—from first-timers to seasoned pros.

All rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses are included, and Captain Alex will even clean your catch at the end of the trip. Just bring your sun protection, your go-to snacks and drinks, and get ready for a full-throttle day of fishing in one of the Gulf’s most exciting fisheries.

I have been fishing for over 20 years competitively and professionally. I obtained a degree from Auburn University in Fisheries Management with an emphasis in sport fish management. When my wife and I moved to Destin, I started in the charter fishing industry as a deckhand on a party boat. From that point on I knew this was my calling and began to climb the ladder. The joy that I have from building relationships with my clients is a blessing and I am grateful to have the opportunity to support my family doing what I truly love. Fishing is more than a profession for me, it’s become my life and life is good. I am blessed to call the Emerald Coast my home and I can’t wait to share all that our waters have to offer with your family too!

My wife and I moved to the area after I graduated college and she encouraged me to chase what I have always been passionate about. I started on head boats and transitioned to private sport fishing charters. Once I had my captains license I started running charters for a great business owner and God blessed me with the opportunity to run my own charter.

Everything except food and beverage is provided, there is always an iced down cooler for your refreshments.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
