About Your Trip

Join Captain Robert for an electrifying lodging and offshore fishing experience on the Gulf! This trip is perfect for avid anglers who feel like they could do a little more fishing in a day than most trips. You'll get a head start on the day when you wake up right on the water in Port O'Conner!

Captain Robert provides a safe and fun environment for offshore fishing. He is fully insured and has some of
the best fishing equipment available. He targets Kings, Lings, Dolphinfish, Snapper and many other varieties of fish in the Gulf. Get on board and have a great adventure fishing the coast of Texas. Stationed in Port O'Connor with a facility on Matagorda Island, he's a top choice for game and deep sea fishing in Texas!

With an all-inclusive lodge, eating, and fishing 2-day experience, you won’t find a better deal or setting for bachelor parties, reunions, get-togethers, and a relaxing and invigorating break from the daily grind!

On your full day of fishing, Captain Robert will cruise you around the nearshores or take you up to 40 miles off the coast (about an hour boat ride) to target some Amberjack, King Mackerel, Lane Snapper, and Red Snapper. You can use methods such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling and jigging to go after these fish. Whether you want to actively fish with a rod in your hand or lounge with some lines in the water, just let Captain Robert know what you want to catch and he'll get you set up with the best method!

Captain Robert fishes aboard a 36’ Contender center console boat. Powered by three 300HP Suzuki engines, this vessel will surely make for a smooth and fast ride out! She comes complete with GPS, Fishfinder, a Live Bait Well, a Wireless Trolling Motor, and an Ice Box to store your catches. Captain Robert will clean any keepers for you to keep up right on the peninsula!

Make sure you bring a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License as well as some food and drinks of your choice. Captain Robert will provide all rods, reels, and tackle. He will also have a cooler for your drinks to go into. Live bait can be purchased before the trip or caught during the trip for an additional fee. Fuel is also an additional charge.
