Join Captain David for your unforgettable fishing experience in the Choctawhatchee Bay along the Emerald Coast - the proximity of the Gulf Stream brings large prestigious game fish right to our doorstep, while the bountiful shallows along Florida's Coast provide a great variety of inshore species.

On this trip you'll be exploring the calm waters of Choctawhatchee Bay and the intercoastal waterways as you search for redfish, speckled trout, and other inshore bay species. Our experienced guide will take you to grass flats, oyster beds, docks, bridges, and jetties, providing the perfect setting for a memorable fishing adventure. We also offer a great option to Introduce young children to the wonders of the worlds luckiest fishing village with our 2-hour specialized Kids Trip/Catch and Release service at ECBC. Your little ones will enjoy an exciting adventure filled with boating, saltwater fishing, and the opportunity to see incredible SeaLife such as sea turtles and dolphins. It's the perfect experience to create lasting memories for the whole family. With light tackle and live bait, you’re guaranteed a successful and enjoyable fishing experience.

Our fishing boat is a 22 ft Cape Horn flats center console boat restored in 2018 with a 2021 Yamaha 150 HP outboard motor. She will accommodate up to 4 adults, we do allow 5 guests if there are 3 or 4 children in your group. Captain David has over 20 years of Fishing Experience in the Destin, FL area which includes 12+ years as a Professional Guide. With the knowledge from his experience, he will take you to the hottest fishing spots in the area.

Captain David offers a variety of fishing trips for anglers of any skill level and also provides a great experience for families with young kids looking to enjoy their day outdoors along the Beautiful Emerald Coast. We specialize in targeting Trout, Redfish, and other local species. Our goal is to give you an enjoyable, safe, and memorable fishing experience that you will never forget. All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

If you’re looking to have the BEST time fishing in Destin. Captain Dave is the ONLY choice. Best fishing experience I’ve ever had. It was tough fishing and very windy and he still managed to get us on fish and I caught my personal best redfish. Dave is a character and that made the trip so much better. Loved every second of it. Wish I had booked a longer trip!

We vet our guides and only partner with the best of the best. Our guides do their very best to keep you safe, show you a great time, and send you home with a memorable experience shared with family and friends.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
