Join Captain Brantley for an extended offshore fishing adventure designed for anglers who want more time, more range, and a better shot at bigger fish in the Gulf of Mexico. These longer trips allow you to push farther offshore out of Destin, giving you access to productive waters where both pelagic species and hard-fighting bottom fish are actively feeding.

With extra time on the water, you’ll have the flexibility to mix multiple techniques throughout the day. Captain Brantley will typically combine trolling and bottom fishing depending on conditions, current activity, and seasonal patterns. Trolling gives you the chance to cover water and target fast-moving pelagics, while bottom fishing puts you directly over structure where some of the Gulf’s most sought-after species are waiting.

Destin is known for its rich and diverse offshore fishery, especially its world-class bottom fishing. On these trips, you may target Grouper, Snapper, Triggerfish, and Amberjack around reefs, wrecks, and natural structure. The Snapper fishery in particular is one of the strongest in the region, offering both exciting fights and excellent table fare.

When conditions line up offshore, the action can extend to pelagic species as well. Depending on the season and migration patterns, anglers may encounter King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), Tuna, Sailfish, and even Marlin on rare and exciting days offshore. These encounters bring high-speed action and some of the most memorable fights in saltwater fishing.

Captain Brantley will keep you informed throughout the trip on what is biting, what species are in season, and what opportunities are best suited for the day’s conditions. His goal is to put you in the right place at the right time while maximizing your chances at quality fish.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip.
